The Education Advocate and Former Science Teacher is Competing in the May 1st Special Election for the Open Seat in Texas 6th.
New York, NY, April 16, 2021 - IVYPAC® announced its endorsement of Shawn Lassiter who is vying for the United States House of Representatives in Texas’ 6th Congressional District.
Well-known as an advocate for policies that ensure children and working families have the opportunity they need to learn, live, and thrive in strong communities, Ms. Lassiter is a former science teacher.
In making the endorsement, the PAC noted Ms. Lassiter’s commitment to centering policy decisions on what’s best for children and families as well as working class, underemployed, and unemployed people.
If elected, Ms. Lassiter will prioritize education, healthcare, the economy as well as COVID-19 recovery.
