IVYPAC™ Endorses Representative Frederica Wilson (FL-24)
This is the third endorsement since the April 2018 formation of the political action committee and the second of an incumbent.
New York, NY, October 30, 2018 - IVYPAC, a political action committee (PAC) formed to support the sorority sisters of the PAC’s founders, announced its endorsement of the re-election campaign of Rep. Frederica Wilson in Florida’s 24th Congressional District.
“Serving on the The Education and Workforce Committee as well as The Transportation and Infrastructure Committee in the United States House of Representative, Congresswoman Frederica Wilson tenaciously represents her constituents and champions the interests of youngsters across the diaspora,” said Ramona Prioleau, Chair and Co-Founder of IVYPAC.
"IVYPAC looks forward to supporting the Congresswoman as she strives to continue her work in the areas of affordable housing, law enforcement & community relations, immigration, education and the environment," added Prioleau.
In April 2018, a group of politically-savvy sorority sisters from New York, New Jersey, Ohio, California, Florida and Illinois banded together to form IVYPAC to help elect their sorority sisters to public office. The women are all members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
