IVYPAC™ Endorses Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States

The political action committee is making its first endorsement in the 2024 Campaign Season, but it's third endorsement of Harris.

New York, NY, July 21, 2024 -  IVYPAC, a political action committee (PAC) formed to offer fundraising and grassroots support to sorority members of the PAC’s founders, announced its endorsement of Vice President Kamala Harris for President of the United States.

Vice President Harris was the running mate of President Joe Biden in 2020 and in 2024 until he withdrew today. Harris was the first African American and South Asian-American woman to receive a major party vice presidential nomination and to serve in that office.

"The Biden Harris administration has been one of the most consequential administrations in American history, responsible for student debt relief for millions of Americans; protecting the Affordable Care Act; and the confirmation of Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson; and so much more." noted the PAC.

Previously, IVYPAC endorsed Vice President Harris when she ran for the presidential nomination in 2020 and her vice presidential campaign.

Prior to her election as Vice President, Harris became both the second African American woman and first South Asian-American senator in U.S. history.

Vice President Harris earned her law degree from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and is a graduate of Howard University, America’s oldest historically Black university. While at Howard, Vice President Harris was initiated into Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
